Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Services Manager to join our growing and well-established firm. As the Data Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented IT professionals, providing oversight on both internal and client-facing applications as well as our data warehouse and analytics platform. This senior role within Wolf & Co. would report to the Director of Information Services and be responsible for overseeing the daily work of the Data Services Team.


*Candidate is expected to work in-office once a week or as needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational management and support of enterprise applications, integrations, data warehouse, and data analytics platforms
  • Manage a team of application specialists, data analysts and highly technical data engineers. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and professional development sessions
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to identify technology needs, resolve application and data issues, and implement solutions that improve customer satisfaction and engagement as well as enhance employee productivity, collaboration, and satisfaction
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Data Services projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with other departments to align IS initiatives with business goals
  • Serve as the technical expert for the team, providing support and troubleshooting for complex issues. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage relationships with key external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services
  • Collaborate with the IS Leadership Team (Operations, Infrastructure, and Security) to ensure consistent technology strategies
  • Represent the team/firm at industry related conferences and seminars

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in Applications Management or Data Analytics
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
  • Deep understanding of data, data management & infrastructure, and application implementation & support
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise with tools such as Power BI, SQL, Tableau
  • Working knowledge of enterprise applications: ERP, CRM (Salesforce), time and billing systems, etc.
  • Working knowledge of AI and AI frameworks
  • Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft 365 platform, and AWS

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $160,000.


Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.  In addition to base pay, you may be eligible to participate in our performance-based incentive compensation or sales commission plans.
