Overview

Wolf is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join our growing and well-established national firm. As an Inside Sales Leader at Wolf, you will manage and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives and Inside Sales Representatives. This position drives all aspects of our business development and inside sales organization to help Wolf & Company achieve ambitious growth objectives and capture market share. You’ll play a pivotal role in aligning sales efforts with Wolf’s industry-specific solutions, including advisory, assurance, tax, and cybersecurity services.


You will be responsible for mentoring and developing both sales development and inside sales teams—including recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching. In this role, you will report on sales activity and forecast to Senior Sales Leadership, while ensuring our sales strategy reflects Wolf’s commitment to delivering tailored, actionable results across diverse industries.


*Candidates should be located within commuting range to downtown Boston and able to be in office during weekly required meetings, quarterly planning, and special events.


**Candidate must be able to work on-site in Boston, MA as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead an SDR and inside sales team, fostering a high-performance culture that drives revenue growth
  • Align sales efforts with Wolf’s service offerings, including outsourced accounting, risk management, and data-driven advisory solutions
  • Define, track, and optimize key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of pipeline generation and sales efforts
  • Own and analyze the Inside Sales segment’s performance, ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline generation, and activity tracking
  • Mentor Inside Sales Personnel through pipeline and forecast reviews, deal strategy sessions, call coaching, and training programs
  • Collaborate with Wolf’s subject matter experts to ensure sales messaging reflects the firm’s value-driven approach to client success
  • Continuously improve and optimize the process

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct sales and sales development leadership experience
  • Proven success leading multiple teams across different regions and solution offerings
  • Demonstrated understanding of sales processes and building successful outbound models in high-growth organizations
  • Experience partnering with advisory and consulting teams to align sales strategy with client needs
  • Strong communication skills with senior-level executives and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Passion for sales and pipeline creation
  • Must have remote workspace available
  • Located within commuting distance to the Boston Office
  • Ability to travel at least 3-5 times a quarter into the Boston Office
  • Strong knowledge of lead qualification methodologies (e.g. RAIN, SANDLER, or similar sales methodology).

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of technologies used in financial services, cybersecurity, and compliance
  • History of over-achievement in leading SDR teams
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Outreach.io sales engagement applications

The compensation range for this position is $90,000—$110,000 USD


Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.  In addition to base pay, you may be eligible to participate in our performance-based incentive compensation or sales commission plans. In addition, Wolf offers a wide range of benefits including spot awards, 401(k) savings, flexible work, and a generous total rewards and benefits package.
