Overview

Wolf & Company is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing and well-established national firm in our WolfPAC Solutions group. The Sales Development Rep would be responsible for driving new business by finding and creating new business opportunities for the WolfPAC software sales team and Wolf’s three lines of service: Audit, Tax, and Risk Management, including Cyber professional services. The SDR will primarily generate new sales volume within the primary Financial, Health, and Manufacturing verticals as well as multiple secondary verticals in an assigned region.

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop target lists for in the financial institution, FinTech, technology sectors, and multiple service offerings
  • Conduct targeted outreach via cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other methods to obtain leads
  • Record all activities in Salesforce CRM
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Director of Business Development on all activities
  • Aid in the design, development, and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve quarterly objectives for products, services, revenue, and profitability
  • Ensure the management of a pipeline consistent with exceeding budgeted objectives
  • Drive individual achievement of assigned opportunity creation and revenue targets
  • Liaise with colleagues to expand knowledge of potential service offerings and intelligence on desired targets
  • Work with Senior BD reps, Software RSMs, Line of Service Leaders, and Niche leaders to craft targeted mini campaigns to close business
  • Maintain contact with key executives at targets, which have not developed into warm leads but have promise
  • Develop persuasive and engaging follow-up messages and activities
  • Be creative in how to continue to develop relationships in a professional manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with proven success in outbound call activity and inside sales
  • Experience selling to Financial Institution and Healthcare markets highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Audit/Tax/IT/Cyber services desired but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and within all levels of the organization
  • Ability and willingness to travel to prospects, clients, and industry trade/networking and educational events when required
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Outreach.io and Sandler Selling System or other sales methodologies desirable
  • Solid business and sales knowledge
  • Strong listening/comprehension skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and be persuasive without making the customer feel pressured
  • Ability to stay composed and objective
  • Conversational, patient, and confident, with a positive attitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability in web-based research
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and prioritize work assignments
  • Proven record of projecting a professional image
  • Ability to develop relationships with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, and flexible
  • Experience with LinkedIn and Salesforce CRM preferred

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000. 


Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. In addition to base pay, you may be eligible to participate in our performance-based incentive compensation or sales commission plans.
