Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Information Services (IS) Team Leader to join our growing and well-established firm. As the IS Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented IT professionals, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure and services as well as for providing oversight on both internal and client-facing applications. This senior role within Wolf & Co. would be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of Wolf & Company’s IS Department.

 

*Candidate is expected to work in-office once a week

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the IS team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and professional development sessions
  • Customer Experience: Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing Niche Leaders, and service line teams to identify the technology needs and implement solutions that improve customer satisfaction and engagement
  • Employee Experience: Work with People Services and service line leaders to identify and deploy technologies that enhance employee productivity, collaboration, and satisfaction
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IS projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with other departments to align IS initiatives with business goals
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the technical expert for the team, providing support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement. Detailed knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, data management and data infrastructure
  • Data Strategy / Data Management: Review and revise, as required, Wolf & Company’s existing data strategy. Develop and deploy a plan to operationalize across the firm in the near term.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies that support the firm’s overall objectives. Identify opportunities for technology enhancements and lead the adoption of new tools and systems
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT systems and data. Implement and maintain IT policies and procedures to comply with industry standards and regulations
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services
  • Management Reporting: Develop and deliver status reporting and management information to senior leaders including C-Suite and Executive Committee. Serve as the authority on IT/IS issues at the firm; help senior leadership ‘see around corners’ and prepare proactively for challenges and opportunities over the horizon
  • Consensus Building & Collaboration: Interact and collaborate with Line of Service principals and other leaders at the firm to identify IT challenges and proactively address employee and client technology needs, in particular client/employee experience improvements
  • Budget Ownership: Responsible for creating and overseeing the annual IS department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments aligned with the firm’s goals
  • KPIs: Establish and track key performance indicators including estimates of ROI for IT services, projects, operations, and team performance
  • Disaster Recover / Business Continuity: Ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and regularly tested/updated
  • Change Management: Serve as a subject matter expert on how organizations prepare for and manage through large scale technical change

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications
  • Deep understanding of AI and how it can and is being applied in IS shops and customer-facing applications
  • Deep understanding of data, data management & infrastructure, ECM, data security
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000


Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. In addition to base pay, you may be eligible to participate in our performance-based incentive compensation or sales commission plans.
